Nicole Chiodi begins her second season with the Armstrong Atlantic State women’s basketball coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach for the 2010-11 season.

Nicole played collegiate basketball for four years for then-assistant coach Matt Schmidt at Northern Kentucky University. She was the starting point guard for the 2008 National Championship Norse, where she led the team in assists, steals and was second on the team in rebounding. Chiodi also set a Norse all time record for minutes played in a season. She graduated in 2008 from NKU with her bachelor’s degree in radio and television.

A native of Highland Heights, Kentucky, Nicole played high school basketball at Newport Central Catholic High School, where she set the all time scoring record with 2,124 career points, as well as setting all-time records in assists and steals.

The daughter of Susan and Tony Chiodi, Nicole has one sister, Maria, and one brother-in-law, Jeff. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in education from AASU and resides in Savannah.
